Here at Camp Hochelaga we offer all the traditional activities of a summer camp. From sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking to water trampoline fun, we have it all going on at the waterfront. We also offer a time for campers to learn Red Cross swimming to help perfect their level of comfort in a lake setting. Don’t worry if water is not your game, read on.
We also offer a large array of land activities from pickleball, basketball and tennis on our brand new sport courts. Enjoy soccer, lacrosse, kickball and more team sports throughout the day. What still not your style, well head on over to Arts and Crafts and see what is being created today.
Arts and crafts is not just glueing on paper, no way! We paint the outsides of buildings, picnic tables and alot more. Sewing is a thing now too! Beading, clay and paper mache are on the list too. If you can think it we can do it!
Camp Hochelaga also offers many camp traditions from our end of session candlelight ceremony to our end of the year banquet. Like a good musical then head to the Wig for some singing and dancing. The Wig also holds our yoga classes on rainy days and our dances with Abnaki, yes we still have our inter camp socials.
Now for a little time with your friends, how about a round of tetherball or gaga pit ball! You will be busy, busy all the way until the lulling sound of the counselors singing you to sleep at taps. Sleep well and see you again tomorrow!
